A Schengen Visa will not allow you to work or deliver services to a business based in a Schengen member state. The visa will only allow you to travel throughout the area for tourist purposes or business meetings. If you’re looking to work or deliver services to a business based in the Schengen Area you will need an alternative visa.

What is a Schengen Visa?
Schengen Visas are designed to make travelling throughout the Schengen Area (see below) far less bureaucratic. Prior to the establishment of the Schengen Area visa nationals had to secure an individual visa for each European country, making the process extremely complicated.
Under the system once it has been approved a visa national can travel throughout the area with this single visa, therefore avoiding the significant hassle and expense of securing an individual visa for each country.
Can I work on with this Visa?
It is not possible to work for or deliver services to a business based in a member state using this visa. It will only afford you the right to travel as a temporary visitor to a member country.
If you would like to work in Europe as an IT, Engineering, Medical or Financial Services professional please call now on 0330 390 9021 or Submit your Details and we will get right back to you.
How long are the Schengen Visas approved for?
This visa will allow the holder to travel freely throughout the area for a maximum of 90 days in a 6 month period.
Please note that it can be very difficult to secure a visa extension therefore it is highly recommended that you plan out your trip in detail.
