It is interesting to note
“He qualified in 1995 as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and, until 2002, worked for Intel Corporation before establishing his own chartered accountancy practice.”
It is encouraging that he has worked in industry, and has even established his own business. A welcome change from the more usual politician’s pre-parliamentary work in media, law, or lobbying.
Politically he supports the Hannan-Reckless-Carswell Direct Democracy movement of localist decentralisers. Empowering People and The Localist Papers No. 6 refers. Although in a country mercifully free of controls on internal movement, immigration control is not well suited to decentralisation.
