If you’re an EEA National you will be able to move and work freely throughout the European Economic Area. If you are a Non EEA National you will need to secure a country specific Work Permit unless you hold a work visa for a member nation and you are working further to a managed service agreement.
Each country within the European Economic Area has its own policies on Immigration and if you are considering working as a highly skilled professional you should take professional advice and guidance.

Country Specific Work Permits
In certain parts of the European Economic Area it can be incredibly difficult and bureaucratic to gain a country specific work permit. France for example is a country which makes it very difficult to secure a work due to restrictive labour laws.
If you are going to be working permanently for a company in the EEA you will need to secure a work visa in the country in which the company is located. For example if you will be working permanently in Germany you will need to secure a German Work Permit. If however you are delivering services to a client based in another area of the EEA and you already hold a work visa in a member state you may simply be able to apply for a Vander Elst Visa.
